It has been customized with a sand-polished aluminum pickguard and matching truss rod cover. This Epiphone Casino was made in August of 2013, and it features the rare Metallic Gold finish. With two P-90s, it produces unique rock n' roll growl, and the tendency to feedback at higher volumes introduces a new overdriven sound. ![]() Unlike the 335 which has a center block to promote sustain and prevent feedback, the Casino is fully hollow like a jazz box. The original design was a 16"-wide archtop guitar that is the same depth as semi-hollow guitars such as the ES-335. The original Kalamazoo-made Casinos are sought-after guitars. Famously used by the Beatles, Howlin' Wolf, the Rolling Stones, Gary Clark, Jr., and many others, the Casino may also be Epiphone's most-recognizable electric guitar.
